The solutions are implemented with the help of the contemporary technology of domestic and industrial wastewater sludge recycling. The technology is based on apply of patent reagents represented by complicated amino acid complexes which are capable to detoxify heavy metals and destruct pathogenic microorganisms.u00a0All the reagents applied within the technology as well as the final product of wastewater treatment are safety for human and environment.



The technologies which were developed by the specialists of A.N. Frumkin Institute of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry RAS (IPCE RAS) are based on the innovative researches of Russian scientists in the field of chemical treatment of sludge from wastewater treatment plants contaminated with heavy metals, pathogenic microorganisms and parasites.

At wastewater treatment facilities the reagents applly can be carried out either in flow by means of supply into sludge tank or batched directly into pumping transfer trunk. The sludge already treated with the reagent is pumped to sludge fields or at mechanical dewatering department.

The treatment of the sludge deposited on sludge fields is carried out by means of direct reagent applly into the sludge on a sludge field or by means of excess batching to the flow at wastewater treatment plants with further fresh sludge pumping to the sludge field.

In winter than the temperature is below zero it is possible to apply the reagent on the ice sheet of the sludge field. In this case the reagent starts to work with the beginning of positive temperatures. The reagent does not loose its properties because of subzero temperatures.


The RUSECOTECH Company’s technology has dual effect: disinfection; detoxification - binding of heavy metals into non-toxic complexes.

The main advantage of the technology in comparison with the others is preservation of the organic content during decrease of sludge toxicity. The technology is based on reagents which are represented by hydroxoamino acid copper complexes capable to bind with protein fibers of pathogenic microorganisms’ covers, incluOing cyst forms, as well as with protein contained in helminth eggs causing their destruction. The copper ions were selected as the base of this complex because of their properties which can provide at the same time the strength of the complex and destruction of pathogenic microorganisms. 

The products of such interaction are amino acid compounds with protein groups which are non-toxic and chemically stable.
